Large Language Model

A large language model, or LLM, is a machine-learning model trained on large amounts of data to process and generate language.

What does it mean?

It learns statistical patterns and generates text in response to input. Fluent output is not proof of factual accuracy. A model does not automatically know a hotel’s current opening hours, availability or policies; relevant information must be supplied through the surrounding system.

Why does it matter in hospitality?

Language models can help interpret guest questions and draft responses. For hotel-specific answers, current information and a clear handover to staff are more useful than confident guesses.
