Conversational AI
Conversational AI is technology that lets people interact with software through natural-language text or speech.
What does it mean?
It combines methods for interpreting language and producing responses. Voice interfaces also need speech recognition and speech generation. Some systems follow predefined flows; others use language models. Neither approach guarantees that every answer is correct.
Why does it matter in hospitality?
Guests can ask questions in familiar language instead of navigating menus. Useful hotel conversations depend on accurate property information and a clear way to reach a member of staff when the system cannot help.
